Established in 2013, our center provides consultancy services to our students in determining and developing their career goals. Within the framework of this mission, we support our students to plan a career that is compatible with their knowledge, skills and competencies.
The business world of the 21st century is radically changing the usual ways of doing business, and an understanding that shifts from work-life balance to work-life integration, especially with the digitalization process, dominates professional business life. However, with the Z generation stepping into business life, it has become the priority issue of human resources for four different generations to unite around common goals and work in harmony with each other in business organizations. Ensuring and maintaining this harmony depends on the equipping of employees with many different career skills such as high communication skills, strong leadership skills, taking responsibility, effective time management, as well as professional technical knowledge. For this reason, as Bezmiâlem KAGEM, we serve as a mentor to our undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students and new graduates so that they have and develop the strategic career skills required by the age.
In this context, I can list the career support and development activities we offer to our students as follows;
- We organize a series of career development events throughout the year to broaden their insights and perspectives on assessing career opportunities.
- We provide professional support in preparing CV, resume and letter of intent.
- We provide active guidance for them to contact the Presidential Human Resources Office and to use this platform effectively.
- We provide up-to-date and regular information on subjects such as education, internship and job opportunities abroad.
- We increase their awareness about career development by supporting them with holistic programs on issues such as improving their communication skills, increasing their career motivation, discovering and strengthening their leadership qualities, and continuous learning.
- By collaborating closely with our Continuing Education Center, we help plan and develop educational activities in line with the personal and professional development needs of our students.
- By bringing our alumni who are already in business life together with our students, we create the awareness of being a member of the Bezmiâlem family and enable them to expand their career networks.
- By bringing the business world and our students together, we help our students discover the high professional qualifications and advanced career abilities of the business world.
- By constantly consulting with our advisory board, we simultaneously monitor the changing conditions of professional business life and expectations from employees, and develop the activities of our center in line with these expectations and present them to our students.
As Bezmiâlem KAGEM, we strive to continuously improve the career knowledge, skills and awareness of our students in cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders within the framework of participatory management approach. I invite our students, academic and administrative staff, alumni and business professionals to be partners in this meaningful effort.
